Hey there Kameraden!
I'm loving your mod, it's much better, and realistic than normal coh (except, when a sherman destroyed my tiger in 1 shot!!!)
Anyway
The question, I want to ask is:
-Can somebody tell me how can I remove all kinds of artillery (on & offmap) and airstrikes from the game?
-or even better, can somebody make it as an addon, like the no vehicles addon?
Lots of you might ask? Why?
Answer:
BECAUSE I HATE WHEN THE GODDAM P-47 KILLS ALL MY INFANTRY IN THE BUNKER, AND WHEN THE 105mm DESTROYS ALL MY DEFENSES!

to kill the 105mm arty, make mortars and use barrage on them. the artillery will become visiable when their shots hit something of yours.
to stop P47 straffing runs.. well.. you cant. :(
its just a small bonus the allies get against the un-killable hoardes of german death-machines.
i know what you mean about it all though.
give me your email address and i'll send you a fixed version of the abilities, which makes them too expensive to use? like the V1 rocket.
60,000 manpower enough? lol

The same thing... why sherman or other small tanks can destroy Tiger or Panther in one shot? That's not realistic :/
The heavy tanks should have better armor :/
This mod is really awesome, and i love to play it, but this thing is pissing me off :(
How to fix it?

heya, yeah the penetration values for the tanks is a bit too high, as we were trying to model the fact that tanks cannot shoot eachother 5-6 times before they are destroyed/disabled, like in original CoH, tanks actually dont last more than 1-2 direct hits. In KMOD at the moment, if a shell hits another tank directly, there is probably 2/3 chances of insta-kill. maybe a sherman or tiger will have enough HP to survive barely, on red HP after being hit good. If the tank that is shooting another tank, is close enough, their shell WILL penetrate. if you can conceal or manouvre your tank so that you get teh first shot in, at close enough range, you will almost always kill the other tank. However, if you are too far away (remember, in the scale of KMOD, and reality, this means quite far away) then the shells will mostly bounce off the armour.
Because of the extreme close quarters of most maps in CoH the tanks will very often kill in one hit, no matter what they are (except for very low calibre guns like a 20mm or 37mm gun)
a sherman's 75mm gun CAN penetrate tiger armour at close range (within 50m or so) however at long range the sherman gun cannot. The tiger's gun however WILL kill a sherman at extreme range, and not only that, but the sherman has HALF the range of the tiger in KMOD. THEREFORE if you are to use correct tank tactics, put the tiger at the back, and let it snipe off enemy vehicles. if you get jumped (ambushed..) by shermans, or something else, then tough luck.

I have another question. Can I use maps from Tales of Valor in Kmod? Is it possible?
I dunno how to make this maps useful, to play Kmod :/
