View Full Version : New skin pack problems. (green unit bug)

Im running COH with the 1.51 patch and I just installed the new skin mod on KMOD V1.39f (I think thats the version, all I know is its the latest one) and the tiger tank, panther tank, and some other tanks are just plain green, are they suppose to be that color? Is anyone else experiancing this problem?

hmm.. Nsysusoloman made those skins, and i believe he found a way to fix that issue. it involves deleting some files here and there..i will see what i can do..

If you do as the instructions say and remove, or rename my KMOD folder, and put the one for the skin pack in the COH directory and play KMOD I don't have all the features that I had with KMOD.
Now -- if I take the ART directory out of DATA and move it over to the original KMOD folder I had it will show me all kinds of new units I never knew were in the 1.39f version. The problem is that some of the units are green. I also noticed one of the TIGERs it allows me to build, after doing this directory move, is green and has not attack capabilities.
Someone tell me if I am doing something wrong or what!?!?! However, the 1.39f file I downloaded by itself is a heck of a lot bigger with more directories than the SKIN PACK. If you just use the skin pack KMOD folder I lose the ability to build more than 70% of the new units avail in KMOD. The pop limit, the range, and all that is pretty much the same.

Ok I figured out the tiger issue, and the skin pack fixes the green tanks etc.
However, the Kompanie Zugfuhrergruppe does not utilize the OBSERVED FIRE. It uses the 150 ammo, but the barrage never ever does it's thing.
Any ideas? Is it because I copied the ART directory into my original KMOD directory from the SKIN PACK KMOD directory? That's the only way I was able to use all the features of KMOD.

My skin pack is for kmod 1.39c, so the new features in 1.39f (The 70% unit you were talking about) are not included in my skin pack
As for the 150ammo barrage, it is an issue concerning configuration in the dataAttrib folder, you will have to ask kyran about this.

that is indeed because while i was messing around in the observed fire ability file, i actually totally screwed it up!! hahah XD
i suggest you delete my modded axis_observed_fire ability in the abilities folder of your KMOD if you want it to work. this wil revert it back to original COH style ability
