Nope.... The website will still function the same way it always has. However, the links to the dowloads will be managed in the forums. Yes, we want to keep track of downloads and the active KMOD community.

Also, there are just some things are better explained in a formated web page than in the forums. The forums have it's role -- as well as the web site having it's own role.

You will see when it all comes together!

That many requests for KMOD 1.4...and its the .exe file not a html or anything...so its how many times a link somewhere has been clicked to provide that file...means 32000+ clicks for KMOD 1.4..meaning that probibliy about 31000+ actual downloads allowing for a few cancelled or failed

I am not so sure that those figures are accurate Pilla. I am sure they are high, but anytime someone clicks the file / refreshes a page after clicking the link / a search engine queries your links / it will give it another hit. The same works with our downloads section.

The only true way to find out how many downloads is to measure the bandwidth used by that specific request. Divide that by the size of the KMOD file = the amount of downloads. Since I doubt your server is running such a statistic compiling program, and third party software is unreliable unless ran from server side, then I would guess that the actual numbers would be about 80% less than that. OR -- 6529 successful downloads
