Complete noob, cant figure out how to install

Im really confused on how to install the KMOD. I re-installed COH and patched to 1.7 (I know now that I should have went only to 1.5).

I downloaded KMOD beta v1.39c

Extracted to COH Folder

Downloaded KMOD v1.39c Hotfix

(heres where I lost it, unless I already lost it)

It says to put Hotfix KMOD folder on top of KMOD folder. Im using WinZip and I do not see the Hotfix Folder, only what is inside it. So I extracted to the COH directory

In the COH folder I double click on the KMOD exe. and I get this message
"The drive or network connection that the shortcut 'COH (KMOD).INK' refers to is unavailable. Make sure that the disk is properly inserted or the network resource is available.




Please help, obviously Im lost at this kind of stuff.

Re-Install Company Of Heroes to patch 1.51
RE-Download KMOD Using This Link

Install KMOD. (Replace Install Path with You COH Install DIR)
DO NOT Install the hotfix.

I updated to 5.1

Dwnoladed KNOD installer

started installer

directed path to C/ProgramFiles(x86)/THQ/Company Of Heroes


I get a brand new foler called "Company Of Heroes" in the original "Company Of Heroes" Folder

I open the New COH Folder (KMOD) and run the exe program, I get same message as before. I have CD 1 in drive.

Also note that I had to google the cd-key because I lost booklet.

We can not associate, or support, hacked versions of Company of Heroes. I suggest that you contact Relic for more information on your issues.

Using someone else's CD-KEY is a big no-no. Kmod and Kmod team will take no part in your game hacking doings.
