PROBLEMS WITH v1.39F ??? LOOK HERE

if you install v1.39F, and when the screen loads your game drops out and crashes, it is 99% of the time because you installed KMOD incorrectly. Fiffa, the fellow who made the .exe installer, made one big mistake. He made the default install path incorrect!! if you didnt already notice (and thus you got the crash) you must reinstall the mod, and make sure that THIS time, you "browse" the install path, and make sure it points to your THQ/Company of Heroes/ folder.


also, if you have the German version of the game, then you will get your whole game in english... if this is bad for you, then you can get the correct german.ucs file from HERE (http://www.kmod.org/_files/KMOD.German.ucs.rar)

Notice to all people with troubles:

KMOD will NOT work with Company of Heroes v1.6+ untill i get it sorted out.
when you load a skirmish game or any other game for that matter, the game with crash with an error. Untill i can fix this, the only thing you can do is to play with Company of Heroes v1.5 or 1.51

i cant use the mod:( it crashes as you say but it doesn't work to change the location the game still crashes could you tell me why

the whole game crashes when you load KMOD? or even normal COH crashes?

did you install COH in the default C:program files/thq/company of heroes/?

did you also put KMOD in that folder?

what version of COH do you have?

It crashes only when i load KMOD and no i didn't install it in the wrong file i tryed everything i even loaded it up in CMS and tryed to start it from there i don't know what is wrong :confused: i have just the game no patches

there opens always a window when it crashes and it says:
Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime library
Runtime error
Program...\ RelicCOH.exe and it says below:

This application has requested the runtime to terminate in an unusual way. Please contact the application's support team for more information

i dont know what it means really maybe you can help me?

maybe you should download/update your Microsoft.Net Framework.

go to www.google.com and search for

"Microsoft .Net Framework v2"

and find the download site and download it! when it's installed, try playing COH again (after restarting computer)

Hi Guys the mod looks great! however I cant play it.....I installed it ok went to a skirmish map (default map) and the bar gets to about 60% the screen then goes black and the game crashed and wants to send info to relic. I have uninstalled and installed now several times with the same result! I even tried to browse to the correct folder which then created a comany of heroes folder within the company of heroes folder wher it put the files...the game wouldnt even start then!

I have all requirements and I do have .net V2.......any ideas?

Since I set up the latest patches I can't run the mod 1.39f. Why? :confused:
Actually I have the same problem also with KMOD 1.39c.
What can I do?
I also tried to reinstall everything....

the mod cant run with the NEW 0.60 patch.(almost no mods can run with it)(its been called a patch to END MODS)

S it works with 1.6 but not 1.61? strange.. i gotta check my version... I got the problem that everytime one build a logistics support team the game crashes.
It also crashes for unknown reasons every now and then.
Sounds ridiculous, but saving every few minutes keeps the game up and running for a certain time. ^^
